Turkey is situated at the crossroads of the Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East, and eastern Mediterranean. Turkey covers an area of 783,562 km², the country Turkey has a population of 83.2 million people (in 2020), the largest city is Istanbul, the national capital is Ankara. Spoken languages are Turkish (official), Kurdish by Kurdish people, and Arabic by Turkish Arabs.
Republic of turkey is participants of the Hague Convention. Since 2011, is a member of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961 that abolished the requirement of legalization of foreign public documents. Apostille is acceptable in all member-countries of the Convention (For more info please visit the website: www.hcch.net). Apostille for Turkey is done for personal documents like birth/death/marriage certificates, Affidavits, Power of Attorney, etc. and educational documents like degree, diploma, matriculation, and secondary level certificates etc. As Turkey is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, 1961, no further attestation or legalization of a document apostilled by a member country, should be required for using such apostilled document in Turkey. An apostilled document should, therefore, be treated as legalized document for all purposes in Turkey by all concerned, in accordance with the international obligation under the Convention.

Generally, we have two procedures to get your document authenticated from Ministry of External Affairs.
first process we must start with the State Authentication (HRD/Home) followed by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). After MEA we must complete the process with Apostille Attestation. Second procedure starts with Notary public attestation followed by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), after SDM ministry of External affairs followed by Apostille attestation. Both processes are valid for Turkey however the state authentication will take more time based on the state of issuance.

Educational certificate attestation for Turkey
Turkey Embassy attestation is possible on all Full Time / Regular Mode of certificate and on all correspondence / part time / distance and open certificates. Any certificate issued from the Universities /private institute in India can be attested. For any abroad certificate (certificate issued outside India) cab be attested from Turkey Embassy in India If you have the Indian embassy attestation of the issued country on the certificate.
Educational certificate attestation we have two procedures, first one is start with University Verification, after which State authentication (HRD) followed by MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) followed by Apostille attestation. However, this process is time consuming procedure and not mandatory for Turkey (Mandatory for only education sector).
Second procedure starts with Notary public followed by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) followed by Apostille attestation for Turkey. Both processes are valid for getting visa in Turkey.
Also, for all Maharstra Documents Bombay Manthralaya process is valid in which we will have Notary Public, followed by Bombay Mathralaya and then attested from MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) followed by Apostille attestation. This process is valid only for Maharstra documents however we can also do the first and second process for those documents.

Turkey Embassy Attestation Process Explained
- HRD process starts with university verification of Original Degree certificate from the respective University and followed by State Human Resource Department for certificate verification from respective State which is the initial stage of attestation.
- After HRD process we will submit the documents to MEA-Ministry of External Affairs for verification. MEA verifies its authenticity and attest the document.
- After completing MEA procedure will submit the documents for Apostille attestation.
- SDM process starts with Notary public attestation on certificate from local Notary followed by Sub Divisional magistrate (SDM)attestation, after wich we will submit the document to MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) to get the indian ministry verification and finally submit the document for apostille attestation.
- All Maharstra Documents bear Mumbai Manthralaya process to valid the ligalization. In which we attest Notary Public, followed by Mumbai Manthralaya and then attested from MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) followed by Apostille attestation. This process is valid only for Maharstra documents.
